ANDREW RUTKOVE
Andrew is the founder,current owner, and lead technician of Midnight Guitar Repair. He has been repairing and restoring guitars for the past 11 years. He has studied Electrical Engineering Technology at Rochester Institute of Technology and recieved a assoiates degree in automotive tech from MCC. He has learned an abundance of guitar and amplifier repair skills from close friend Chuck Hurlbut. Mr. Hurlbut is the owner BinghamTONE (formally Teleman Vintage Guitar). Andrew has completed a luthiery course and additional apprenticeship with a Binghamton luthier. Lastly, Andrew has also studied with Richard Modafferi of McIntosh fame.
IMRE KNAUSZ
Imre is Midnight Guitar Repair’s amplifier repair consultant. Imre holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. He completed his Bachelor work at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Imre’s forte is analog signal analysis; he has many years in amplifier repair. His laboratory is the ideal set up for any complex diagnosis work. He has multiple tube testers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and Variacs.
